Which advantages and disadvantages does the alliance have?
Which alliances are known from the 1st world war?
Is a better be in alliance with other countries or be alone?
The big advantage of alliance is that if you need help, you will get it from the allied countries. The most alliances were formed before and during wars for example in the 1st world war. The alliance is an agreement between two or more countries. These countries have an agreement of helping the other in a case of enemy attack or any other emergency. Alliances during wars were more than support during fighting it was also supply of goods when shortage of food or other goods occurred. But mainly they were supporting each other on a field-by number of soldiers and weapons.
During the 1st world war there were two main alliances. One of those is called “Triple Entente”, and that second is called “Triple alliance”. In Triple Entente there were following countries-Great Britain, France and Russia. We can say that there was also Belgium, because GB said that if Belgium is attacked, Britain will enter the war to help them.
So it is much better to be in an alliance than be alone. Being in alliance means support which is much better than stay alone.
