Bromine
Bromine (Br) is a halogen element with electron number 35. Bromine is a red liquid in normal room temperature with reactivity between chlorine and iodine. Bromine is corrosive for human skin and Bromine vapour is very toxic. It can seriously damage your health if you breathe it in.
Fluorine
Fluorine (F) is the most reactive element of halogens. Its atomic number is 9. As by every halogen Fluorine can damage your health seriously and when it goes in touch with your skin it burns your skin.
Chlorine
Chlorine (Cl) is also a halogen. Its atomic number is 17. This element is necessary for forming salt and other compounds which are necessary for life. It is very poisonous. Chlorine is a powerful oxidant and is used in bleaching and disinfectants.
Iodine
Iodine (I) has atomic number 53 and it is the least reactive halogen element. Iodine is normally used in medicine, photography and dyes. It is required in trace amounts by most living organisms.
Astatine
Astatine (At) is the last element of halogens. This element has atomic number 85. This halogen is radioactive because it occurs naturally in uranium. Astatine it the heaviest elements of halogens.
